Your visit to Semenggoh
This is how the observation works.
Two daily feeding windows
The tourism information states 9:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. Your pickup is beforehand; The three-hour tour also includes round-trip transport. An hour feeding window is not a guaranteed hour of visible orangutans.
Arrive, listen to clues, observe calmly
After arrival, the visit leads to observation in the forest. Keep your distance and follow the rangers' instructions. The animals decide for themselves whether they come to the feeding place; If there is plenty of fruit in the forest, the visit can end without a sighting.
Which combination brings you more?
The second stop complements a different experience: Annah Rais for the village visit, Cultural Village for houses and demonstrations or Fairy Cave for limestone landscape. It does not automatically extend the orangutan observation.
