Kubah: slowly through the forest with light
The organizer describes hotel pickup in the early evening, about a 40-minute drive and an introduction before the hike. You then use flashlights to look for frogs, insects and other nocturnal animals. Sturdy shoes, rain protection and insect repellent belong in your luggage.
Mangroves: from evening light to twilight
The boat route connects mangrove canals and river mouths. The search for fireflies begins at dusk. The product page lists a total of four hours with road transfers; the pure observation time is shorter. You explore the surrounding area by boat instead of on foot.

Schedule the night trip after a quieter morning in the city or a short visit to Semenggoh. After Bako or a long day of kayaking, a free evening is often a more pleasant choice. Plan to eat before Kubah and keep the next morning quieter if necessary.

Can I still book Kubah after a three-hour visit to Semenggoh?
This is basically a more suitable combination than after a long day trip. The specific return from Semenggoh and pick-up from Kubah must not overlap; leave time for a break and dinner.
